Advancing Public Order Policing: our new DHS Partnership

We are proud and grateful to have been awarded the contract to work with the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service on Public Order Policing policy and curriculum and training. This program equips federal law enforcement officers with the training and knowledge to properly prepare for the unpredictable environment of public order policing. This groundbreaking program will directly contribute to protecting law enforcement officers, preserving citizens’ First Amendment rights, and ensuring public safety. Last year, we kicked off the Public Order Policing Instructor Development Training Program with participants from the federal, state, and local police departments throughout the United States. This year we’re starting the role out of training for all other staff demonstrating how the FPS continues to collaborate to protect the homeland. We look forward to taking this program into the future.
